I have not update this blog for awhile now so I guess I have more things to talk about. Below are my personal reviews of the movies I have watched since June.

The A-Team was a great fun movie to watch. Action packed and a pretty enjoyable story. It sure as hell beat the old A-Team tv series by far. The actors and actress(Jessica Biel) carried out their roles very well. I was most surprised to see Sharlto Copley play the role of Murdock. I really enjoyed his role in District 9 and he was really good as Murdock...actually the funniest of the lot. So yeah I would rate this movie an 8/10 as it was really a good remake to the original show.

Another remake that was enjoyable for me was the new Karate Kid movie. Yes I can agree with everyone that it is a typical story and what not but it was a really good tribute to the original movie. Jaden Smith, not only reminded me of his father, but he acted out very well and really respected his agility and capabilities to do Jackie's choreography. This movie should be rate a 6/10 as it was enjoyable though very predictable.

Knight and Day was a pretty fun love/action comedy. I still enjoy Tom Cruise's movies, though this had a very typical storyline, as I admire his capabilities of doing a majority of his own stunts. Surprisingly Cameron Diaz was quite enjoyable in this movie eventhough her roles are almost the same in most movies, especially comedies. In terms of espionage stories, this movie had a reasonably good story line and some fun action sequences. Therefore I shall rate this movie a 6/10 as I did enjoy this movie.

For those who have watched the previous predator movies, Predators was a pretty good effort. With the improvements of CGI technology, this movie displayed some impressive scenes especially for the predators. Adrian Brody surprised me as its one action packed movie that I have seen him in, and though he's pretty skinny, he did manage to build up a good physique for the movie. However, nothing beats Arnold's Predator movie as it was the 1st and original and for the late 70s the movie was pretty fun. Storyline was nothing great but action sequences were entertaining, thus I will only rate this a 5/10.

Most game adapted movies are not successful or enjoyable and Tekken was one of them. Having seen good fighting movies like IpMan 1 and 2, the action choreography was really disappointing here. Each punch or kick had no real impact unlike the like of Karate Kid where Jaden Smith really took a beating. The actore were very B-grade quality and the lines were really cheesy. If you really have nothing to watch then I guess Tekken is alrite to kill time, but this movie is only worth a 3/10 and its not one I would watch again even for fun.

For a 1st effort from M.Night Shyalaman, The Last Airbender was not bad. Fans of the animated series have found this movie to be a disappointment but I actually didn't mind it. The story line was at a rush as Book 1 of the story had to be shrunk to fit a 2.5hr filming slot. Some of the lines were also corny and all the Fire nation were played by non-chinese actors...but the whole movie is filled with foreigners anyway. Actors like Dav Patel and Jackson Rathborne played their characters reasonably well and helped made the movie watchable. But if the following books are to be made into films, then Shyalaman has to make major improvements to not only regain the interest of his audiences but also maintain till the end of Book 3. The movie deserved only a 5/10 and I would still watch the other sequels if they are to be made.

Another great summer movie was Salt. I enjoy watching Angelina Jolie in her action movies and this was a good watch. It had an interesting storyline and a reasonably good twist to it. The ending seemed uncertain if there is to be a sequel but I'm looking forward to it if there is to be. For a good storyline and action sequences this movie deserves a 7/10. Watch people if you haven't yet.

The Expendables was really entertaining. Just to see these action stars unite together to provide an explosive movie to me was great fun. People who were disappointed with the movie made a mistake of expecting too much from it. Its a typical action movie and, like most action movies, the storyline isn't that great. But what the heck man, Stallone is back again, Jet Li's in it and Jason Statham was cool so just go watch the movie for the entertainment. I'll give it a 6/10 for the movie because the action sequences were cool.

Last but not least, the best movie for this summer goes to Inception. Christopher Nolan has done it again already after providing us other great movies like the 2 Batman movies and Prestige. I am honestly a fan of Chris' movies as he not only provides us with interesting storylines but he keeps us at the edge of our seats.

This movie played on the idea of planting an idea into the deepest most of your subconcious mind....who else have ever come up with such insane ideas!? The special effects and the suspense made this movie one hell of a ride and it really was a cinematic experience.

With a cast like Leonardo DiCaprio, who has improved his acting skills immensely since his Titanic days, Ken Watanabe and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is really climbing the ladder to stardom, how can this movie go wrong. Whoever came out of this movie without having felt blown away, must have either slept in the movie or isn't a movie person at all. I won't understand how anyone could not have enjoyed this movie. I recommend that everyone buy the dvd....buy a blu-ray one while your at it because this movie will be a great watch even after the 10th time of watching it. 10/10 people....won't you agree.
That's all I have for now....will provide you with more updates soon :)
